September 1st

We did very little of blogular interest today.  That said, you were so chatty and sweet and lovey and interactive with me today!
Of note:
-You're talking up a storm.  I better get some babble on video soon, cause it's about to be phased out....which I'm having mixed feelings about.
-You love rice and beans intensely.
-You have a thing for the ambulance that we got yesterday.  You couldn't find it today, so you carried around the packaging for it and pointed to it ALL. DAY. LONG.  I finally found it (you had left it in the car yesterday I suppose) and you slept with it in your hand or next to you all night long.  It only went off twice - which I was impressed about.

August 31st

Your first movie!!! Planes.

We went and picked up Steph and drove out to Neshaminy and met Tali, Gene, Elon and Zev for what we thought was going to be a special showing for people with sensory differences...we ended up in the wrong theater though...and it didn't matter!  You did awesomely!  It was my first movie in something like 2.6 years...I'm so flippin' happy that this is an option!  You all did great, ate your popcorn like champs, you clapped at appropriate places and only got up once (though it was for an extended amount of time...it wasn't running around or crazed, it was really just stretch your legs-like).  Amazing.  When the movie was over we went to the play place in the mall, and then got some pizza... Then we went to Target...then West Philly where we got some Little Baby's and met Dave and saw Papa...then the playground, then home for the evening.  Kiddo, I'm insanely tired.  Why...HOW are you not?!

August 30th

You both "helped me pack" and legitimately helped me pack...It's so nice when your "help" is actually helpful.  You're the best.

We got home and realized that Paula had our key.  Heh...oops.  Grandmom didn't have the key, so we settled in to the porch for a nice long wait for Paula and Brennan day to start...until the phone rang.  Grandmom did actually have the key, and she was headed back to give it to us.  Lucky that, we were getting antsy.  I saw a hummingbird in the back yard!

Brennan and Paula came over and we hung out here for a little before driving all over the planet with them.  Ok, maybe just to Jersey and then to Doylestown.  You pushed him in the car, and then he pushed you...you took turns with the iPad...you ate together and played at the playground together... I could make a sandwich of you two and eat you both up, Man... Brothers...Love it...

We came back home and settled in.  The house is a pit, but it's our pit.  Our pit that isn't looking over the ocean.  We do have giant sunflowers and willing-to-pose hummingbirds though!
