November 28th - Thanksgivikah - 29 months!! - Two and a Half!!

We had a very napsome morning.  We also had a lot of watching trash trucks on all sorts of devices.  We watched them on the Kindle, on the phone, on the computers...we watched sitting on people, sitting on bears, laying in bed... I think it's clear that you're thankful for trash trucks this year...among other things, of course.  (I'm aware that I spelled buses wrong. It's embarrassing...)

We had Thanksgiving dinner at Grandmom and Grandmapa's house, and Steph and Aunt Beth and Calita joined as well.  We played with trains, and lit candles...and you and Grandmom chased each other around the house with pull toys, stopping on the stairs to take little breaks in between laps.  You're so stinkin' cute, Manly...I'm pretty thankful for you...and G&G...and really everyone that's in our lives.  We've got it pretty good over here.

I can't believe you fit in the sweater again!  I'm also thankful for that!!  I don't think we have it for next year's picture.  Even if not, a three year progression is a pretty cool thing to have!  You're HUGE next to the yous of years past!

So...as pictures get posted of Jacob, I'm gonna add them in...cause if we get to have him be part of our family, we'd be posting about him all the time, and if we don't get to have him be part of our family...he's still pretty cute!

Today was your Thanksgiving party at school... You and your whole class were super adorable... What does a turkey say?!

We picked up Steph after school, came home and napped, lit the candles for the first night of Channukah, and played with all the toys we got.  You were a little freaked out by Hugging Elmo, but you were very excited to feed him cookies (his mouth opens and closes).  I think the real hit of the evening was the George (triceratops) that has stars and a dino that project onto the "sky!"  You actually allowed the lights to go off to go to sleep!  You had absolutely no interest in the book though.  We're gonna have to change the order of gift opening a bit for future nights...

Days of doing not much are few and far between these days, Little Man.  I've been super crazy busy, and I'm hoping that you're getting all of the attention and lovin that you're wanting... I joke about how many pictures I take, but light picture days make me nervous that I'm too preoccupied.  (A normal person might believe this meant that they were more engaged.  I suppose that's possible too.)  Aaaanyway...I had to do a bunch of present wrapping, which ended up letting Harry Potter out of his closet.  (The giant bear)  You used to be super scared of him, but you're actually seeming to want to interact with him right now, so...giant and overwhelming to our tiny house though he might be...it looks like he's gonna be a regular for right now.  Naps and music were biggies today, and Aunt Beth visited for a bit as well.  You're lovin your 'tahrtahr' and play it along with every show's theme song and musical moment that happens in the room.  Cutie...
