January 31st

Well.  We're still sick.  Not too sick to go to school, so after a loungy start and you deciding to open up and eat the lunch I packed you, we were on our way to school.  It did warm up a bit today!  Our pipes didn't care one lick about that though as one of them, the dead end one...(no lie), burst in the basement.  Good times.  So, after school, you went to Grandmom and Grandmapa's house, I worked and Steph dealt with plumbers and moving tons of things from the flooded basement up to the livingroom and dining room.  Luckily, we're some of the cleanest people I know, so we have all the room in the world for that... Oh...wait...

Among your favorites of the basement-flood-finds was your old bouncey seat!  And because of this, we will harken back to the days of yore...and post some videos that are not on the blog...of you and the bouncey seat:

Oh I hope that's as enjoyable to you as it is to me...

Sweet dreams, Little Man, I hope we're feeling better soon, cause we have SO MUCH TO DO.

January 30th

Thank goodness Jacob is a tolerant soul.

You spilled and asked to clean up your mess!  Fascinating...

We lounged for most of the day, taking out every messy thing that we could and played the heck out of all of them.  We took an epic nap during which all my boys (non-feline) were on me - warmest nap ever.  We forted (heh...get it?), we painted...I'm kinda proud of my T-Rex.  Truly, I'm pretty proud of my continual willingness to paint or draw whatever it is you're asking me to without pause despite my feeling that I can't art, in whatever form, effectively.

You and Steph compared feet (yours will outgrow hers shortly), we sang and read about dinosaurs before heading to bed.  We've still got an amazing amount of snot in us, Kiddo.  How'd we get so sick?  How'd Steph not?!  Not that I'm complaining...someone needs to do our bidding... :)
