You keep not falling asleep until like 1 or 1:30!  I'm exhausted!

My lord, our house is humiliatingly junked up right now.  Working on it, I swear.  I know I say that a lot, but really...Sigh.

You had a play date with Ernesto after school!  Finally!  We've been trying to get together for a year! Sometimes being a messy person comes in handy - we still have all of our sand toys in the car from vacation, so we brought them to the playground with us (it's covered in sand) and shared with all of the kids there.  We dug, we swang...we fully missed our nap, and passed out HARD when we got home.  It's gonna be another very late night, eh?

September 22nd

After school we did a lot of playing.  Steph made eight loaves of challah, and you wanted to go to the pool, but settled for coloring a little guy.  You keep getting very upset for no reason that I can identify.  You also aren't doing fantastically at listening.  I guess it's good for you that you're individuating and testing boundaries or whatever, but yo.  Sigh.  Your sweet is sweeter than ever though.  You ask in words for cuddles and the way that you get stuck on the 'ds' in cuddle melts me every time... 

September 21st

"Steph? Find Kai." 

I knew I wasn't gonna be around for a bit, so we started a project - making truck magnets out of concrete.  Eventually, though, I had to work, so you and Steph went to Ikea to get some ice cream.  I mean...organizational things. You fell asleep on the way home, so we went to drop off Kai: Steph, ask where Kai. Went to Ikea to get some organizational things and had to get ice cream on the way out. On the way home you fell asleep, so, we went to Amaris and Stuart's house to drop some presents off for Adelise.  We headed home because we were going to get ready to go to the pool with Rosie and Dolly, but we also told Aunt Jackie that we'd stop by Haines for a block party.  You ended up having SO much fun and watched football with Shai and the guys.  Heh...Absolutely hilarious.

We went to the pool, and, as it turned out, we got very little time there.  It's pretty amazing in there, I'm a bit bummed that we didn't get more time.  We'll get to know it better soon enough though. You "found a friend" in the locker room (your reflection in the knob) and had a whole conversation with them.  I sometimes can't even believe how wonderful you are to be around.

We got home and  painted our magnet trucks, and played violin, and hung out with Ayo... What a day!
