February 2nd

We woke up (at our normal time.  thank you sir) and went to Grandmom and Grandmapa's house where you spent a lovely day with Grandmom.  You went for a long walk, ate yogurt, and slept on Grandmom's lap in the rocking chair.  You didn't want to be put down a lot today...clingy man.  You were very happy the whole time though.  You two had a very good day.

When I got back we cuddled and you kissed me and snuggled me and stood on me.  We ate dinner and you played around with the puppies on the floor.  We went home and played and cuddled some more.  You made such a mess with all of your toys.  It's kind of funny how such a small person with such small toys can make such a huge mess.  Watching you crawl through the debris is pretty funny too.  You're also starting to try to climb...you've been trying to climb over me instead of going around.  You are growing so fast...

February 1st

Mister, the sun is barely even up when you have me playing with you these past two days!  You're killin' me Smalls!  Thankfully it seems if you get to play for about ten minutes you let us go back to sleep.  We slept for another two hours or so and then we went into the city for an hour, and then our day REALLY began.  Holy awesome play date with Rosie!

Honestly, I was in a bit of a mood...Dolly correctly diagnosed it as low blood sugar; that mixed with your coughing/laughing/cry sound thing that you've been doing (heretofore known as your 'cly' or 'clying') and I was loosing it a bit.  Luckily you and Rosie seemed unfazed by my mood, and you played and you climbed, you gave her a kiss...she rocked and she posed...Max made you giggle...We were living life and living it well Sir.

You have started to actually make spin art.  Like, you are somehow changing the colors by yourself and choosing paintbrushes.  While I understand that there's no way that you're doing this all consciously, it sure does seem like you are.  I'm shocked every time that you don't exit the program or make entirely monochromatic blobs on there.  So clearly, we are seeing that you will be a drummer AND an artist.  Ringo Da Vinci.

January 31st

We went into the city just to see Aunt Lee!  A lot of the pictures look kind of similar to the others, but I can't pick, and she hasn't been on the blog nearly as much as she should be...so...there you have it.

When we got home you were all about the walking.  (After playing on your keyboard that is...and in the outfit that Dolly and Rosie brought you yesterday...and you look so stinkin cute...)  There was no going to bed at a regular time, or winding down even, so we went downstairs and off you went!  It was like you were on fast forward, it was kind of funny.

You have this new sound that you make which is really cute for a minute, but then (just being honest here kiddo) is totally maddening.  I wish like crazy that I understood what it was that you were trying to communicate.  It's kind of like you're coughing, but there's no real cough.  It's kind of like you're laughing...or crying.  I'll keep you posted about all that I learn from it.  My current guesses are that you do it when you're thirsty and tired.  But it has to be both at the same time.
