March 2nd

We dehydrated apples in our sleep last night!  The first picture is our first batch.  You love them, it's kind of funny how much you love them actually.

We went to Grandmom and Grandmapa's and helped to make Hamantaschen!  I've been a part of the process every year except for one (which we don't remember the scenario for, so we might just decide to give me credit for it anyway) and you, now, have also never missed a year!  Grandmom and I were so tired by the end.  You too got completely pooped by the process and fell asleep while we were working.  Anneliese came over and helped us for a while - which you woke up for so that you could do some flirting.  When we finished baking, Grandmapa took you upstairs to listen to Pictures at an Exhibition, and Anneliese and I sliced fruit for more dehydrating while Grandmom cleaned the kitchen.

Anneliese left and Aunt Beth came to eat dinner with the family.  We definitely make each other a little crazy, but this family sure loves each other...and openly accepts and loves anyone who any of us bring into it too.  All family's are a mixed bag, but we're really lucky to have our particular good parts in our bag.

Also?  The apple chips were really good...

I still remember eating them at your house in the 8th grade while watching a Michael Jackson "best of" video countdown!!
