So...I would like to just note that your Mama looks like death in many of the pictures...not only is she sick, but she's carrying you and about 10 tons of luggage.
So, we had a rough morning...not gonna lie. I decided to try to keep you from napping as much as it was possible to so that you'd sleep on the plane. (Which largely worked btw) Once we were in line at the ticket counter though all was smooth sailing...as it were.
We had the fortune of a gate right next to McDonalds - blog readers; judge if you must... Kai, you LOVE fries! It became clear that that was going to be our pre-flight snack. You chowed on down...and then we found a seat to relax in the gate waiting area...where there were college girls going home...who were eating fries. You had three young attractive women flirting back at you and offering you their fries. Unreal man.
You were amazing on the flight. You were getting compliments from everyone the whole time. You only had about 40 minutes where you went a little crazy, but like the man next to us said - it was appropriate, we were all going a little crazy. The seatbelt sign was on the WHOLE FLIGHT. There were only about 30 minutes the whole time that people were allowed to walk around...and for a newly mobile person (or a new person...lol...everything was so interesting to you!) that was particularly hard. When we landed, after being complemented on your flying someone asked how old you were and I said you'd be one on the 28th (!!!!). The asker said "Aw, Happy Birthday!" and you said "Thank you!" Clear as a bell. I even asked if people around me heard what you'd said and they confirmed it. Unreal Man... Unreal.
So...we arrived safely...and were so excited to see everyone!! My phone was dead, so we are grossly under documented photographically, but we will undoubtedly make up for that over the next few days.
Yay Arizona! (and please Arizona...make us feel a little better?...thanks)
