Holy TONS of pictures!  This is the edited down group too!

After trying to sleep in by watching some DVDs in bed we decided to join the day before it hit 100!  We got to spend one on one time with every member of the Schulman clan!  AND  you went into the pool for the very first time!  (Your toes were in last year, but I didn't want you touching so much chlorine when you were itty...cause I'm a protective Mama...I promise that that's what doctors were suggesting the year you were born!)  Kai you LOVE the water!  Your name seems to be doing it's job on that front :)  Many fronts actually, you're also incredibly mellow and go with the flow.  For a jet-lagged baby you sure are pleasant! 

We dried off and then you went back in the water with Uncle Stuman.  He tried to assist in a slam dunk, but you weren't having it.  It's ok, maybe next time...Or maybe Basketball won't be your sport...that'll be ok too.

There was a Saturday 4-1 pool party and the ladies were all over you... I don't even know that I have more to say about that...Oh!  Except the blonde and you are birthday buddies! (give or take two years)  

Everyone keeps commenting on your curly hair and your amazing eyes.  It's funny, in Arizona people are hesitant to say that you have beautiful or pretty eyes, and opt for handsome.  We keep telling them that it's OK to say beautiful and pretty though - cause it's what you ARE :)  -- the most handsome and beautiful and pretty little man I know.  

You started eating ice tonight...(a function of the desert perhaps) and started sucking in and then spitting or dribbling out water all over (ME!!!) yourself.  That's fun Manly... Nice habit...Did I mention that you did this twice on the plane too and that I got soaked?  You also started fake laughing, and also legitimate laughing like you think something is funny even when not being tickled.  you are SO CUTE!!

You and I seem to be trading off feeling sick, but tonight, even though we both felt pretty well, you had gotten so used to the temperature taking that you decided to take my temperature and hold up the water bottle for me... You just are the sweetest thing ever.  When you were falling asleep tonight you kept catching yourself, opening your eyes and seeing me and smiling the most amazingly sweet and big smile - you even laughed once - and when you fell asleep for the last time in this series you made sure to have your hand touching my leg for you to be happy.  Best start to a Mother's Day :)  I am so ridiculously lucky to have you in my world Mister.

Also...it needs to be said... Your cousins are BEAUTIFUL!!! And they're wonderful at taking care of you and enjoying you and you ADORE them!  I just love it!
