March 29th

We're so sick.  We both weave in and out of pretty high fevers and almost concerningly low ones.  As usual, you're barely even noticing that you're sick.

We played in the green room, and then you did while I napped.  You and Steph and I then all went to go Passover food shopping (because I'm incredibly particular about my matzoh)...and also might have acquired some insanely large balloons.  Riding home with them and the dogs was pretty funny...

You were OUT by 7.  My stubborn little sickling...if you don't nap, you're just gonna stay sick!

March 28th

We're sick again, Man.  This time with a pretty gnarly cold.  You slept for most of the day, and when you weren't sleeping, you were playing with octonauts or watching LeapFrog's Amazing Alphabet Adventure Amusement Park (or something like that).  So much interest in letters!  Every time, you go through and learn someone's name to attach to a letter.  So far, you have k for Kai, g for Grandmapa, j for Jacob, z for Zivy, and R for Rose.  In that order.  (You must be learning about them in school too, cause knowing Z for Zivy just came from you...)

Such creativity...I wish everything wasn't an emergency...emergencies are very loud.  But you're so very creative!

(I'm not discussing the fact that you're 3 and 10 months.  I'm living in denial.  Deal with it.)

March 27th

Steph is saving earthworms in those first two pictures...if that wasn't clear.

After school, you , Rosie, and Ernesto had a pretty epic play date in the lounge, and then we drove around to get you to nap while I worked...and then we went to G&Gs for Shabbat.  You talked on the phone to Uncle Stu, and played with Grandmom... You played with blocks and did a puppet show...(the rough transcript read something like:
g- "we're mean pirates"
k- "hi guys, wanna go swimming with me?"
g- "we don't know how to swim because we're just mean pirates and the ocean is also very cold."
k- "oh, I could help you. And here, want a jacket?")  You, clearly, are the sweetest, most amazing person that ever personed.

You also played with my picnic set from when I was little and seem to love it as much as I always did.  That'll be fun to play with when we're there!

We came home to "magic tricks" and cookies...and then retired to the bedroom to play with Octonauts and Gups in bed.

Not a bad day!
