Sukkot.  Look, I'm sure that it would be easier to jump right into a routine...but I LOVE that I get to spend the time with you!  It's like slowly weening me off of full time you.  I could eat you right up...

September 27th

Today our city officially shut down because the pope came allll the way from the Vatican to do a mass in Philly.  You have absolutely no idea about any of that.  Also, tonight, there was a blood red lunar eclipse...you also have absolutely no idea about that.  You saw some pictures of the moon, you appropriately asked where it was going and why it was hiding, but then couldn't have cared less about the answer I gave you... I decided to snap pictures not of the moon itself (because...camera phone?  not so much...) but screen shots of the live feed from NASA (because...camera phone.)  I hope you enjoy.

Today I cleaned the back yard...but then got a little carried away so you STILL can't play very well back there.  I'm so sorry.  I think we might need to rethink the design a little this winter.  I kinda want to make a Hobbit House happen.  Steph, we can make that happen, can't we??
