The day started with breakfast at one of Steph's favorite breakfast places, and then we were off to the antique car show! You got to put out a fire, sit in a fire truck, sit in an excavator, jump (for a little too long) in a bouncy candy store!...sit in super old and awesome cars... what a morning! How fun to have happened upon that!
You and I took a nap on our way back to Nana's, and then we decided to head to the beach to blow bubbles instead of blowing them on the porch. I'm not clear on who the bubbles were actually for...
You and Steph flew a kite, and then Steph kept it up while you played (for a little too long) at the playground. You LOVED the merry go round, and rode on it watching the big boys spin it for so long that you wanted to try to spin it too...you didn't do a bad job, either! You went around and around in circles for what probably should have been two diaper changes worth of time, so when we finally got off to find Steph, your need for a diaper had reached critical mass. You ended up having a bit of an explosion, and spending the car ride home sans pants. Look at you proudly walking half nakie... GOD you're so CUTE!!
We took the long way home so Mama could get more beach, and we all could see where Sodapops grew up and where he and Steph spent much of their time growing up...
There aren't a lot of pictures of the evening (at least that I've uploaded?...I feel like we took a ton of you and your imaginary play of the evening...?) but that's what happened...You spun amazing tales of your toys hanging out and then going to bed, creating comfy beds for them, tucking them in... You also ate half a carton of ice cream...and like 8 soy dogs.
