Happy First July 4th!!
We had a very relaxed morning, cuddling and hanging out with our crib friends...spending time on the porch - enjoying a beautiful day. In the afternoon we were waiting for Mommy to come home so we could plan what we were going to do at night, she was gone for a while though, so we practiced nap time with me not in the room (which I've included a picture of for all of the people who believe that I never put you down), and we practiced looking sad with the light hitting our eyes JUST right...(you nailed it kiddo!) and amazing smiles.
We ended up pretty much sleeping through the festivity part of the fourth because waiting for Mommy to get home was taking forEVER... at about 9pm we realized that it was taking forever for her to get home because she WAS home...accidentally asleep on the couch. I should have made a picture of fireworks and taken a picture of you in front of it...but I missed the boat. We'll have to do real fireworks together next year :)
