After a very serious conversation about your "babies," (Mister, I can not wait until I have some idea of what you're saying...You are, without a doubt, speaking in what you think are full sentences and would be shocked to find out that you're not speaking English...) you wagged your finger at me, took Bert from me and threw him on the floor (poor Bert) and then walked to the door: ready to start the day.
Sadly, the day was starting at the Doctor's.
You stood on the scale for the first time instead of being in the laying down one! That was big! You had so many shots today I can't...I have no words. Evil. They're evil. Sadly, much of life is evil...The good news is that even evil things can protect you sometimes. I'll have you know that we got three stickers today - even though the bin says to only take one. AND, we got all your favorite characters...not Elmo, we got Big Bird, Ernie, Oscar...once those stickers were in your hand, the needles were forgotten. By you. After the next visit we're done with shots until you're four!
We came home and napped a little, and then finger painted! It was your first time! You are clearly a natural, and though I would never sell them, some day the paintings on our fridge will be worth quite a bit. (Yes, you're tasting the paint. They're vegan.) (like that means they're safe... they're entirely plant based.)
You learned how to use the punch balloon!
