Have I yet mentioned that we are in the middle of the most evilly humid heat wave that actually feels like the earth is a giant pan on a stove steaming water? The ground burns, the air is thick...It is positively miserable out. And so...we've decided to have people over and cook ourselves together in the pan... (Truly, one of the pools was actually too hot to get into after being filled for maybe an hour...) We cooked a stew of Terry and Ezra, Dolly and Rosie and the three of us...added in some cupcakes and some pizza, and appetizers... Deeeeeeeeeee-licious.
You've been asking to go upstairs for bed at around 8:30 every night. I probably shouldn't have said anything...I've just jinxed it. Sigh.
