March 9th

Today was a building day!  You wanted to play with blocks, and then castle blocks, and then legos... Build build build!  You also wanted my breakfast instead of yours, and you wanted me to feed it to you instead of feeding yourself.  It's so rare these days that you want me to do something for you, strange as it is for me to say this, it was a treat!  You then methodically lined up an entire sleeve of Thin Mints, and did your "turtle puzzle" while systematically devouring them.  You did share, you didn't eat the whole sleeve.  No comment as to whether you and I ate the whole sleeve together though :)

We were supposed to go over to the Ferver's, but you and Ro napped quite late today, and I had to work...so they came over our house.  You two played so beautifully today!  You shared the whole time, discussed things, when you stepped on a Lego, Ro offered you her bees!  You have no idea how giant a thing that is, I almost cried.  When you were calm again, you brought her bees over to her and said "thank you my Rose."  I can't with all the love and appreciation lately!  Like I'm so overflowing I'm shocked I haven't just burst!

When they left, you came over and hugged me: "thank you for Rosie, Mommy."  I mean, I know that all parents think the world of their children.  All parents believe that their kids are the most talented and the sweetest...etc... But, Kai, might you actually be the MOST TALENTED AND SWEETEST?!  I think the WORLD of you! :)
