October 2nd

A rainy day at home.  We played all day, down stairs, then upstairs, then downstairs... You made your own water table out of rain a table and...EVERYTHING YOU COULD FIND!  You're such a scientist!  You melted chalk, you made the wheels of your cars slick, you made an envelope partially dissolve and a ball roll off of the table...You would have been there all day adding things to the table all day long if I hadn't encouraged you to come back inside...
...to eat triscuits...

Aunt Beth came over with her friend Carly and we all had dinner and hung out for a while, listening to music and watching you be a toddler...You were shy when they first came, but were warmed up by the time they left.  It had been so long since we had seen Beth!

October 1st

Oh the Mamaroo... You really didn't like it when you were size appropriate for it.  You've been playing with it for a few days, but today you got in it and were so content...and you looked over at the picture of Grandmom and Grandmapa and started talking to it.  Oh so sweet...

You haven't been feeling great for over a week now, so we called the nurses line and they decided to have you come in.  We went to the doctor, got you some medicine, went to Target...and you slept the whole time!  You're starting to be able to stay asleep when I transfer you from one place to another...Thank goodness.

We went to the store up the street and then we cooked dinner... You ate SO MUCH!...so much that you passed out when you got done.  Sweet sleepy boy...

September 30th

I will get your room clean, Man...it will happen.  You love your room...and every toy in it.  It's amazing... We worked so hard on your room...Every single thing in it was brought in with intention and so much love.  It's awesome to watch you see and pick things out and up that were bought for you to see and pick out and up.

We went to see the Fervers for a bit; bought some shoes, ate some ice cream...walked around Suburban Square...went to Trader Joe's... Dolly got a picture of your new teeth!! 16 months old and 6 teeth.  I bet you'll have at least four more by 17 months.  You're doing so much teething and suffering over those things - I hope they give you many years of good eating!
