December 31st - Last Day of 2014!!!

Our days are so relaxing here...naps and Barney, two boys to play with you and respond to your every whim... Today was crazy fun on top of relaxing, complete with fireman outfits, pile-ons (note that you can't even SEE Steph...), dinosaur puppet shows and what can only be described as an irresponsible amount of hot dogs (veggie...they're not all that horrible...but still...)

You and Steph fell asleep around 10:37 (but no one was really paying attention to the exacts or anything) leaving me with a list of resolutions for me to make official for you.  With task in hand, I rang in the new year with Donna and Ted and came up for a kiss at midnight...But I"m getting ahead of myself, that's for tomorrow's post...

December 30th

Chillin' with Uncle Thomas, then chillin' with Uncle Matthew, then shopping and lunch with Mee-Maw/Gramma/whatever we'll land on calling her.  (Mee-Maw was your choice, and it makes everyone laugh...)  While we were shopping you exclaimed "Excavator!"  Mee-Maw came over to you and said "I've gotta see this, there couldn't possibly be...Oh my Gosh!  You're totally right!"  So...we went and took a ride on the Excavator, and then went on a search for shoes: the coolest possible of which we obtained... (Fire boots, and dinosaur light up shoes!!)  We saw another truck, rode it, went to lunch...came home, napped, played hard, read hard and slept hard.

December 29th

A relaxing day at home in Arlington...minus a trip to get some diapers and some more Kai friendly food...someone's been a picky pants... While we were in the parking lot though, someone spotted some Mighty Machines!!  We clearly needed to go and visit them.  Wow, Sir, vehicles sure make you happy... You're also kind of brilliant about them.  You had your fire truck and ambulance with you when we went to whole foods, and when everything was off of the belt, you put the trucks on, facing the same way as the belt so that they were able to drive for the rest of the transaction.  You cute little genius...

We came back and napped and played and played and played with Uncles Thomas and Matthew, and skyped with Grandmom and Grandmapa - both of whom are delighted to have their picture on the blog despite the potentially negative feelings that they might have about the picture.

It's gonna be hard to leave your Uncles, Kiddo...and I bet it's gonna be hard for them to have been left. Let's step up our skyping game, shall we?
