August 15th -Kai's First Day in the Kai: or 'the day mama unapologetically left all of the pictures that she took in the mix'

Well stinker, you're definitely having a growth spurt. You're eating every hour that you're awake, and not sleeping for longer than hour and a half long chunks. Not the best timing, but all the amazing things you're doing while you ARE awake and not eating are so cool it's almost not noticeable.

We let Mommy sleep, but she ended up getting up pretty soon after us anyway. We went to the beach and first you went on the sand (the pictures of which include a lot of your food source...sorry...but it's the only way to get the ocean in the background) and then you went IN the water with Mama! You LOVED it! You only cried when I took you OUT!! My Kai likes the kai!!

When we got home we had floor time, and you (with some coaxing) held onto the (color coordinated) letter links and swung them around once they were in your hand! You're officially playing with toys!

The whole day had you pretty tired by the end. What a big day!
