October 15th

I love when you wear your Grrrr shirt.  You always look the most unassuming in your Grrrr shirt.  

First thing we did this morning was talk to Jasper, who spent so much time with us while I was pregnant with you but still hadn't met you yet!  We decided that he had to be a part of the day, so we planned to get all of our pumpkin patch fun finished by the time he was able to come and see us.  We dressed you up in your Zombie shirt, and you practiced looking like you were actually the zombie's head, and then we went to the patch.

We brought two Halloween themed outfits with us, and had a costume change mid way through our photo shoot.  People kept coming over to see you and show you off to their children.  I really do think you might think your name is handsome...

We went home and Jasper came and hung out with us for a while.  I carved out a pumpkin to put you in, which you didn't hate at first, but you started getting tired right before I put you in it...which makes for an unhappy Kai to begin with.  I'm really hoping that we'll be able to get a picture of you smiling in there.  I'm gonna cut some more out of the pumpkin so that your arms can be out at the same time as your legs.  And make sure you've napped before we attempt it again.  

The day ended with tons of naps, and a very restful sleep.  You're a fun person to spend a weekend with.
