Your first Black Friday started with a halt. I was deciding whether or not I was going to go to the midnight start of the sale and you woke up at about 11:45...so, we bundled you up enough to make it through the walk (people in Brooklyn walk places instead of driving) but we couldn't find my wallet. SO....we went back to Steve and Rebecca's and went to sleep (after locating the wallet.)
We woke up late thanks to our littlest members staying up so late last night that you decided to sleep in...we ate breakfast, and went to Fulton St. to shop. We got great deals! You were only cranky for about ten minutes throughout the whole time we were out! When we left our shopping fun, we went to see Steve and Rebecca's new house. You wanted to touch all of the wiring and wood chip covered things and Bria wanted to walk on the unfinished floors. Good times. We love the house, and are excited to see what it looks like when all of the work is done!
After the new house, we went to see Josh and Liza and meet baby Adina! She's so little and perfect! You look like her bodyguard :)
Liza and Josh are obviously wonderful parents, even just eleven days in...and still find the time to be attentive and loving cousins! It's so exciting to have so many same aged babies in the family! Zoey is almost done cooking. I'm so excited for the pictures of all three of you!
We drove through the night again, having taken a wrong turn, but made it home safely having had a wonderful time in Brooklyn. It has so many of our favorite people there! We're obviously going to have to start visiting more frequently...but it's very nice to be home.
