December 28th

After toast and bacon (and no eggs because I ate yours) Nana, Steph and I went to visit with Arielle and Joey and his Grandmother and play in the snow for a bit!  You've been begging to play in the snow all season long...and then you got in it!  It's cold as it turns out, and adult sized gloves don't fit you as well as the ones that the cats are keeping warm at home.  Once the trucks were unearthed though, we had a fantastic, albeit short, time.  

We went to visit the Jansens, and it absolutely amazes me that though you barely know them, it seems like you've known them forever!  You built a fort together, and played rather nicely in it...and then you parallel played beautifully... What a lovely afternoon we had!!  

Back to Arlignton, we had dinner with and played with the boys...and then you asked to go to bed JUST in time for me to not have to help with the dishes.  If I haven't mentioned it yet...I adore you, Man.

  

December 27th - Christmas #3

After a morning of playing with Uncle Thomas and Uncle Matthew, racing planes and playing with a car transporting truck, we drove up to New Hampshire to see Nana and Aunt Vanessa and have another Christmas!  We ate, and then opened presents...and then the REAL Christmas miracle occurred: TWO FIRETRUCKS showed up at the apartment building and we got to watch them!  A pumper truck and a ladder truck!  (No one was actually harmed or in any danger, they were just checking something in the building out.)  We cuddled with Nana, played with our new toys, colored and then you put everything in the house away before going to sleep!  I mean, you seriously picked up every piece of clothing, every toy, every wallet...and put them all away in a cabinet...and then we went to sleep.  You and Steph and Nana all snored very loudly all night long, I'm kind of shocked that you were able to sleep at all, but sleep you did... Look how sweet you two are... Sigh...
