Wreaths smell delicious...and ours smells delicious AND reminds me of the ocean. I don't know that there's a better combination when walking towards home. But...today, bright and early we were walking away from home...and on our way to pick up Dolly and Rovus to go and meet Janelle and company! Yay!! Steph, Rovus and you all hung out in the back seat and giggled and napped for the whole ride while Dolly and I talked and sang and were generally jovial in the front. We arrived at Jannelle's house, went up to the door...and found that we weren't at Janelle's house at all, but were at her parents' house! Funny stuff. It was lucky for you that that's the way that it turned out though, because they live across the street from a firetruck museum! Oh, Mister...I don't have to tell you how exciting that was for you, do I?...
We all headed to the farm after the museum, and we saw reindeer and pigs and "trains" and rode ponies! We ate donuts...we might've bought a tree (tiny and potted that can grow along with us all...though, I fear Steph is done growing...). So fun!!
We went to Janelle's REAL house after, and you and Ro and Genny played and played and played... There were no fights, there were very few tears, and there were hugs and a lot of following each other around. I wish we all lived closer! Janelle and I met and bonded over you and Genny about 7 months before you were even born! You should look back through all of the "your friends" posts on your blog, she's been doing everything right along with you this whole time, just WAY over there... Sigh. It's pretty cool that everyone got along so well. Our May babies group really does seem like it was meant to happen so we could all meet one another. Ya know, if you believe in that sort of thing. Aaanyway, we had a wonderful time, and can't wait to see them again. I'm gonna go ahead and sigh again...sigh.
We drove home, you and Ro and Steph were back seat troupers, Man!
Sweet dreams, Sweetie...
