Lee and Maddie came over and played and played and played! Well, you and Maddie did. Lee, not so much. You're interestingly territorial with Maddie, Mister...I wonder what that's gonna turn into as you guys get older. You're never really all that territorial, it's weird to see.
We went to Ezra's birthday party (late...cause we got lost...in our own town. I don't know what was going on there, Man...I got nothin'...) and you had a lot of fun once you warmed up. I think it was weird for you to see so many of your friends outside of school. It's so weird to me to be hanging out with the people that you're going to grow up with and will maybe be some of your best friends some day...Sitting with the parents made me really aware that everyone in that room is kinda stuck with everyone else in that room for quite a while. Perhaps this was a strange thing to be thinking about, but I had ball pit balls stuck all over my body and I was the only adult venturing into the pit. It seemed apt to think it all through.
Jacob had new pictures posted of him! AHH!! Seriously, cute cute cute cute!
We came home and picked up Steph and went to Ikea to pick up some furniture to make the cleaning and organizational process easier. You weren't excited about it until I said ice cream. ;) Then we went to Target. You weren't excited about it until I said Cheez-its... Steph was pretty excited about that one too.
We came home and you and Steph built the shelf thing...but really, you both did it! You really did screw in some of the nails (part way)! That's the first Ikea furniture that you've ever made, Mister! Congrats. First of many I'm sure...
You and I had a great cuddle before bed, and then snuggled all night long. After I snuck out to clean the downstairs some more that is.
