Today was 'make the back yard flat enough to build a giant cinder block wall and put above ground planting beds' day. We went to Lowes, which got us a half a flat of cinder blocks that we couldn't put many of in the car, and we got the information to lead us to the decision to get a tiller for the back yard instead of using a shovel and weed whacker. Holy tons of work, Mister Man! I appreciate your staying calm while I brought twenty 38-pound cinder blocks to the back yard from the car. That wasn't easy. Also not easy? Tilling! Landscaping is no joke!
You were also quite a champ in the back yard while I tilled. You rode your car, and you helped rake the ground flat. Truly, Sir, you actually were quite helpful! You were more actually helpful than you were "helpful," which is pretty amazing for a toddler...
I know that there's a ton of chaos in that back yard, and that where there isn't chaos, it's mostly dirt...but you have no idea how much we've accomplished. We used to have a few bunny hills (ski slopes) back there, and now it's largely flat! High five!
