Lordy, this was a roller coaster of a day! It started out so lovely - neighbor's leaving us notes about our yard (which was actually yesterday, but I got to the documentation of it today), morning outside play time, and then something happened to Barry. We're not sure if it happened and then Jacob went to help him, or if they were playing and Jacob just pawed the wrong spot on Barry's back, but Barry is definitely not doing so great. We brought him to the vet and had some X-rays taken, and he's gonna hang out there for a bit while he's still breathing heavily. (Collapsed lung lobe?) Sigh. He's also not able to move his legs very well, so we're waiting to see if that's neurological, will go away, or was just the regular Barry strange movements and the vet isn't used to them. We're having an emotional day as a result, obviously...
I wasn't feeling too up to cooking...or eating, really, so you and Steph went out and got me (us...and Aunt Beth) Rita's. Water Ice is magic...even if it is Rita's and not what I grew up on. But before I get ahead of myself, listen to you singing "You Are The Best Thing!" Oh my, do I ever loooove you...
