What a long day! I've been kinda sad because of Barry, and not really wanting to do an awful lot. This day left no room for hermiting. We dropped off the dogs to Grandmom and Grandmapa's house, picked up Barry from the vet, and then went to the Neurologist to see if we could hone in on what exactly was happening with him. (We couldn't, by the way...steroids, crate rest, hope and time were the take aways from the visit.) On the way to the neurologist's, you kept reassuring Barry that he was going to be ok..."It's OK car, you're going to the doctor, the doctor will fix you, cat...it's OK..." Sweet little man... Sigh. In the waiting room of the Neurologist's office, I ran into Chris from high school! Small world...He kept us all occupied and got our minds off of why we were there until we got called into the office. Dr. Northington came into the office and you said "It's the outstanding Doctor!" Where do you get this stuff? We brought him home and then napped just in time to be rested enough to go to the city where Steph and I got hair cuts.
After the hair cuts, we went back to G&G's to pick up the dogs, have dinner, and play with G&G. You learned the family hand game, and rediscovered Jake and Jenny - my Cabbage Patch Kids from when I was your age! You NEEDED to bring some of the CPKs home, so Jake and Jenny came back with us, while Alexis, Carmen and Lyssa hang back at G&G's house.
We got home and you wanted to help to feed Barry...because you are the sweetest...and then we went to bed, where you wanted to change and tuck in and read a story to Jake and Jenny...because you are the sweetest...
