We woke up bright and early for dance class, and then we were going to come home and nap and figure out what to do (it's too cold to do the water rides at Sesame, and it's also supposed to rain) but we got home and you made it quite clear that you wanted "Sesameet" even if you couldn't go in the pools. Cold and wet days are actually quite lovely at Sesame as it turns out. There aren't lines for anything (though, you only went on two rides, the carousel and cookie monster's boats and you HATE rides right now) and you get to, pretty easily, meet ALL of the neighbors on the street! We met EVERYONE! So awesome...even if we did have to chase half of them around in the rain, and even if you did refuse to share the umbrella.
When we got home, we had our first family havdalah, and started your tzedakah box. I'm glad we're starting that tradition. With all of our struggles, we're still pretty lucky, I'm excited to start a ritual of giving to other people as a family.
More pizza, more books, more snuggles... Lucky lucky folks we are.
