Sooooo, we played hooky today. You legitimately complained about your stomach, but...I'm not sure that you couldn't have gone to school. That said, it was your last day with Sodapops, I also didn't want to make you two miss out on that. You did a bunch of concerts for him, and you helped him "fix my house" a bunch as well. You took a great nap with Steph...and then with the dogs. We ate some yogurt..and then got more pizza, we lit the candles, and then said goodbye to Sodapops...but not before he made you a race car out of technic legos! We brought the car upstairs and played with it until Steph got home. You also said something so clever while I was putting lotion on : "Mom, can I have some scream? My car is drive." Whether that was intentional playing with sounds, or your having inherited Grandmapa's strange hearing, I thought it was brilliant...
Not QUITE ready for bed, we read your Chanukah book of the day "the book with no pictures." I actually was concerned that you don't listen well enough to love the book as much as all parents are promised their kids will...but holy moly! LOVED. You belly laughed that amazing laugh of yours, making it totally worth it that I had to (and will have to, I'm sure) read it many many many times.
