Grandmom and Grandmapa's after school!  You never nap when you're there.  But you sure do when you get home!!  SOOOOOOO sleepy!

You woke up and it was pretty late to get started on much beyond watching TV, we didn't want you all amped (sure.  that's why you just watched TV.)  You also told us all about the art you made in school! The squirrel is a particular favorite of both of ours.  It's a Kai squirrel because it's so happy!

After you went to bed, the country got news of a pretty big decision that will (hopefully) be getting some serious discussions started about race in this country.  Well, the conversations have been here forever, but hopefully this will be the catalyst for those who haven't been listening to join in the conversation.  You are a beautiful mix of races...made, in part, from a man who is also a beautiful mix of races.  You are hopefully where this country is headed, Mister... You are proof that difference mixes together into beautiful, kind, sensitive, and caring...exactly what this country - WORLD - needs.  Here's hoping we're headed toward a more Kai'd version of ourselves...
