We lived a thousand days today. We set our seed bombs out to dry, then did an "Easter" egg hunt, played with all of your new cars and trucks...and then went to Milo's birthday party! Can you believe he's one?!
We left the party and went to the Cynwyd Heritage Trail to look for Aiden. We looked for another three hours. Strangers were looking for him too, which actually really amazed me. So many people were so concerned for us. People had read about him online, and either went out themselves to look or sent out their husbands, Shawn met us outside of the cemetery (where he had been spotted) and jumped the fence to look for him... Jacob stayed in the car so he could bark and call for her...and Kai, you stopped strangers and called for your Aiden the whole time (you weren't biking). The sun began to set though, and it was time again to give up for the night. We drove through the other cemetery in the neighborhood (they're connected) and went home. You were so upset...making sure that I didn't open the window because you didn't want Jacob to run out...
We got in pjs and got ready for bed when we got a call from Grandmom! "Guess who just came to my door?!"
We all jumped into the car, went to pick him up...and when he was in the car and we were pulling away, you started cheering "oh yeah, we've got Ainen, oh yeah, oh yeah, it's our Ainen..." Oh my heart...
