You've been having such a good time at school! You're also (you, and the rest of your class...) getting into the swing of things being all lined up with your book bag and monkey and everything. It's almost less painful to drop you off and not get to be with you now that you're enjoying yourself officially. Almost less painful. I still miss you like crazy. You're such a big boy with your book bag on and your monkey...walking out of school and all the way to the car by yourself.
We came home and were about to take a nap when I heard the garbage truck outside! The garbage men know you! They're excited when they see you, everyone waves, and they always press the button as they're just past our house so that you can see the trash "disappear." We should say hello up close some day and find out their names...they are, after all, the people in our neighborhood.
I wasn't feeling well enough to cook, so we got Japanese food for dinner, and you refused to eat anything but Miso soup, and refused to eat it with anything other than the chop sticks that came with my sushi. Stinker. I really hope that the videos are still compatible with whatever you use to read this in the future... I should probably make hard copies of everything, huh?
You tricked me into thinking that we were going to get an early bed time. Lies, Man. Lies... Instead, you brought at least ten thousand trucks upstairs to bed with us, and played with each of them...hard. You asked to watch Fraggle Rock (which I'm pretty sure that you've figured out that I have a soft spot for) and put on every pair of sunglasses that you could find and started driving cars on your face. You're my sweet little weirdo...all cuddled up with Monkey and six cars.
