A whole day at the beach! Yay!!!
Today's hole was really something...It was deep enough for the water to be coming up even when the tide was out, and wide enough that we could have a massive drip castle in the middle...We each had seats with backs and arm rests and cup holders...it was really a sight, the pictures don't do it justice. That said, I was really the only one enjoying it today. Until some kids from Atlantic City came and helped drip some more castle with us. Lauren spent much of the day boogie boarding, and when she didn't have her board with her, you were dragging it around with you. You made quite a game out of it...you were loving that thing. Julia was on her phone a lot. I'm impressed with how well her battery keeps life... Grandmom relaxed and played and relaxed some more, Steph read for much of the day...and I dug a magnificent hole.
What the hell was up with those seagulls?!
You and Lauren and I sat in the hole until the ocean came and took it from us, reminding you that you do, in fact, love it! There are ten thousand pictures of the day, but it's because...Look At That Face!!
You took a nap on Grandmom, overlooking the ocean, and Steph and I went and looked at the sand sculptors and walked around for a bit. She's such a sentimental lady, that Steph...
Back to the room, cuddles...good day had by all. It's supposed to rain all day tomorrow...Steph is going back to Philly tomorrow...at least for a while. I already miss her... a little.
