June 2nd

(The things that you miss about your mom and your Steph because you're at school...we were driving Steph to a meeting and saw two stray dogs on our path...so we went and tried to catch them.  Your Steph has one of the biggest hearts I've ever come across... She maybe could use some lessons in appropriate harnessing of her heartstrings, but she's a good one...

Also a good one?  Oh Mister, wait for this one!  [It won't surprise you, since you're you...and the story was about you...and it doesn't so much surprise me as much as it gives me a beautiful story about yourself that I can hand you...]  We were waiting forEVER in the doctor's office, and a man was wheeled in on a bed.  You asked if he felt sick - probably, if he was getting better - hopefully... and then you looked down at the back cover of the People magazine sitting next to us and there was a picture of a little boy with very little hair looking up.  You asked if he was sick - Yes sweetie, he is. You asked if he was at the hospital - Yes, it looks like it.  You asked if he was going to get better - There's not really a way to know, Man.  Hopefully!  That's what this ad is about, raising money and awareness for the hospital that the little boy is at so that the Drs and researchers can do their best to make him better.  You said "I want to make that boy happy.  I want to make all the girls and boys happy when they're in the hostipital."  And we decided that we were going to aim our love of painting for people away from birthdays and towards making the kids in the hospital feel better.  Man...I hope I deserve you... and I hope everyone in your life deserves you.  You're the best.  The absolute best.)
