We woke up and tootled around for a while before seeing Katie - who we haven't seen in a long time! You were a bit cranky, so we ended up going for a drive and then lunch.
When we got home you started playing with the chalk, and did the most interesting (to me) (and you clearly) things with it! My favorite of which, you will see by the plethora of documentation of it, was taking the tub of chalk up the slide stairs, individually placing the chalk at the top of the slide, and then individually giving each piece of chalk it's own turn going down the slide. You met them all at the bottom, and happily reunited, started drawing again. Have I mentioned that I think that you are the coolest kindest little critter out there? Edible. Absolutely edible.
We finally decided that a different Target was needed so that we could get you some medicine. You really weren't feeling well, so your Mama was not taking no for an answer. It wasn't on the shelf in the pharmacy, the man stocking the aisle said he didn't have any in the building, I had him take me to every place that it might be in the store...and then one place he said it wouldn't be - but I knew it would. We bought out the store. Kai? It totally worked. I'm frequently skeptical of homeopathy, but Hylands - hats off to you. Your teething tablets were good enough, but the cold tablets? Magic.
