October 16th

After a wonderful day at school (your report card actually said: "I LOVE SCHOOL!") we went to G&G's house for lunch and some playing with Grandmom and the piano.  It was so much fun that we missed our nap!  You decided to make up for that on the drive from G&G's to our house, which left us stuck in the car with you asleep until Papa came over.  We came inside and you were so groggy!  You fell asleep again essentially standing up, and stayed that way for about an hour.  We think you had a bad dream when you woke up, actually, because you were horribly cranky and inconsolable for a little bit.

You finally came around, and were absolutely adorable once you did.  You and Papa played with every single car that you have!  I truly don't know which of you was happier about this actually.  You two also started a craft project that I really hope that I remember to complete for you.

I'm going to be including a lot of videos for the next little while.  I'm having separation anxiety from your babble...which is rapidly replacing itself with big boy words.  Sniff sniff... You never say goodbye just once though - this is an example of what goodbyes look like from a 28 month old Kai.  I can't believe I missed the opportunity to video the "BYES!" of 24 month old Kai.  Everyone still says it to you because they're expecting it.  I love them both.  Every stage of yours, really...Less the screechy ones...but even those.
