We were totally prepared for this snow storm, Mister. We bought no bread, no milk (we have food...I promise) we bought Legos! Our entire day was occupied, we didn't even notice that we were stuck inside! Parenting win!!
Aiden and I shoveled while Steph and you put together your decoy Lego set (bought so I could build the one I wanted to build...I'm sneaky...) It was a very bookish day as well. Legos and reading. We're a very intellectual family. I made a promise to you that I think I told you about on here that whenever you want to read a book I'll do it...no matter what. I've been falling a book or two short since getting sick. I apologize. That said, Steph actually paused doing the dishes, just plopped right down on the floor with you and read to you when you asked. Parenting superstar, that one. I've been schooled.
We went into the (still very in process of being cleaned up - don't judge) basement to find me some medicine and you found the wet vac. I actually had to bribe you to get out of the basement and away from that thing. You're so silly!
You snuggled me until my head felt better. I love you, Kiddo, thank you!
