We went and picked out the Legos for the wedding gift I'm making for Steph. Maybe we got some things for you as well. Here's the deal though, we've been so incredibly busy...wedding stuff now, crazy life stuff right before it...you've been such a rockstar through it all...You're the best behaved and sweetest, kindest love of lovebug that I'm taking opportunities to spoil you a bit while we're in the chaos. Legos also come with the added bonus of forcing some together time ;)
From there we went to Lowes to get some dirt and some peat pots if we could find them...which we couldn't. We did find some giant hats though! We also found some half whiskey barrels that I think we can use for beverages at the wedding. Brilliant, cause I'm a lot more likely to use them for planting than I was the boat or any of the other ideas we've come up with so far.
We went to G&Gs and you played with them and made a pretty amazing firehouse with Grandmom while I and ultimately also Steph planted 150 trees into peat pots. Not as fast a project as I imagined it was going to be. Not sure what I was thinking really... It is satisfying though... Now we just need to find deep enough pots for the spruce trees. Think think....
You and Grandmom are so funny when you play. I'm wondering how she has the energy to keep up with your imagination and playing and enthusiasm. I know she isn't with you all day every day, and she doesn't have the shingles, but...she must get tired. Have you SEEN how tired you make YOU?!
