June 28th - One Month Old!

I can't believe you're a month old already!! We had a good day! You were in good spirits, and we talked and we sang... You practiced faces, and didn't want to sleep at all...day one of which was quite pleasant. I'm a little scared of tomorrow, but today was fantastic. I love your snuggles!

June 27th

We got to spend so much time with Mommy today! You kept rolling closer and closer to her and almost kicked her out of bed! Later we met Punkin's Daddy, and he was so excited to meet you - even if it was your cranky time of day...

Mommy cuddled with you for so much of the day which let me clean the house and myself...which gave you a much happier Mama, which seems to have given me a much happier Kai. You're deliciously sleepy and cuddly.

June 26th

Today we hung out watching TV with Brennan, then we got ready to go swimming (which we didn't end up doing) and we read with Brennan in your room. Other than that, we had a pretty uneventful day. We napped a lot, and walked around a bit outside. You were so amazed by everything you saw! Such big eyes you've got! The roof seems to be of particular interest to you. Also I think I figured out a new way to feed you so that your tummy feels better. We're both benefiting greatly :) Oh! And you wore your Karate Kid shirt and practiced your karate moves! I think you're a natural...

June 25th

My little "Tuff Guy" has started to like to be swaddled and may subsequently be the happiest baby on the block afterall...

We had Aunt Beth time and Punkin time and Mommy time today...you are one very loved and very lucky boy...

You and I are definitely making eye contact these days, and you laugh in your sleep :)
