June 15th

Busy day!! We went across the street to say hello to Junior and Beth, and then Rea came with Akiva. What a sweet boy Akiva is, and Rea was excited to see you again, not many people can say they were there when you were born!

When they left we took a little nap and then Aunt Beth came over for a while. You were fighting sleep all day long! More aware and awake than you've been lately you jolted awake every time your eyes started to close. The world looks pretty exciting to you, your eyes are so big these days! You were a bit fussy after a while, so we went and hung out in your room, watched you in the mamaroo, fed you in the glider... you're so fun to watch.

Aunt Beth left, but we were pretty comfy in your room so we stayed for a while. You took your first nap in your crib. You seemed pretty comfy in there - more comfy than I was with you in there :) I stayed in the room and hung out on the glider to make sure I'd be right there if you needed anything. You got hungry after about 20 minutes, and I tried to put you back in the crib after you ate, but you weren't really interested in that...so we went and took another nap together, after which Monika and Sam came over and hung out with us for a bit. You sure looked comfy on Mo!

And at the end of our long day Mommy came home and loved on you...she knows your sounds so well! She seems to know exactly what you want... You are scrumptious!
