You started off your morning at a playground with Grandmom. You were notably quiet. Such a thinker...(or, ya know...your sleep has sucked lately.)
You napped in the car on the way to West Philly where we picnicked in the park with Steph - who there are no pictures of. I imagine that'll be remedied sooner or later. While we were there, you went to the 'big kid' side of the playground and went up two rungs of that tricky yellow ladder you see yourself standing on down there... You weren't convinced you could do it (and I wasn't convinced I wanted to let you) but we overcame our fears. Nicely done, Partner. As closure to the picnic in the park paragraph I'd like to say: Holy stinkin' cute in that hat, Mister!
We were already in West Philly...so...we were essentially on the Fervers' front door, right? How could we NOT head over there?! Rosie was King, and you were her chef...and then you napped and Ro sat beside you on the couch and watched Sesame, looking over and commenting on your sleeping and positioning every once in a while. I had another heart overflow watching you guys. I sometimes worry that it's unfair that not everyone is getting to watch you two grow up...but then I remember that I over-document your life and all anxiety is quelled.
While we were at Ro's, Grandmom and Grandmapa saw Stu (who had a layover near enough that they could see him)! We weren't there, but my immediate family (of origin) sees each other so infrequently that I couldn't not include the picture of them. Don't they look great?! Apparently, so was their meal...Portuguese. Yum...

Stu didn't have a layover in Newark; he actually flew into there to then spend a few days working in New York.
