We had a very artsy and creative morning, Sir! You requested the alphabet, and then drew complimentary lines to add to the mood of the piece... We played with play doh and you learned to cut with a knife. You have pretty excellently precise cuts. So do surgeons. Just sayin'.
We went from play doh surgery to contruction. You built, and then threw away the play doh in the garbage truck ("OHHHH! S'A GARBAGE TRUCK!!!") and refused to let me put the refuse into a different receptacle (the container for the doh). I somehow managed to get it where it went and wrangled you into clothes so that we could go see Quinn and Mercedes and Laura at the Aquarium! We so rarely get to see Mercedes and Quinn! And we really should see Laura more. She lives right over there...
You and Quinn were both a bit napsome, so we didn't get to spend as much time as we thought we would, but we loved the new Crocodile exhibit, got great views of the Hippos, and had a whole experience with the sea turtles. It really seemed like they knew you were watching them. They kept coming back over to exactly where you were!
We came home to flowers from a missed Steph, and then used all of the colors in the bouquet to color some vehicles. You're a very good colorer. You hold a crayon so nicely!
You built some more impressive block creations, loved on George for a bit, and then went upstairs to...wait for it... READ TO ME!
"Good naiet mouse. Good naiet mouse. Good naiet mouse. Good naiet stars. Good naiet stars."
I can't even tell you how much I loved this. Your little voice is gonna be burned into my brain forever and I'm pretty sure you're gonna hear the story of you reading this to me over and over and over until you hate it and I've ruined the book for you. I'm sorry about that. Don't hate the book...then your kids will never be able to read it to you!
