Falling asleep early always means waking up in the middle of the night. Midnight this time. "Moooooommmmmmmmy.....MOOOOOOoooooooommmmmmmmmyyyyy...Mommy Mommy Mommy!" We ate some snacks and watched some Baby First TV and went back to bed. (Three hours later. I'm gonna hurt tomorrow.)
We officially decided that you should stay up until 1 and nap then so there's a day of it under your belt for Wednesday, so we invited Steph to come with us to the Aquarium so we could have tons to occupy us instead of just waiting for 1 to arrive. You cuted your way through the Aquarium, as you'll see, but it's so interesting how just a month has changed the way that you interact with the exhibits! I think some of your favorites were glossed over today because you were tired, but you were tired because things that you'd never really cared about before were, this time, fascinating to you! So cool to watch.
We left the aquarium at about five after one, and you were asleep by about 1:15. A brilliantly executed plan if I do say so... We went to Trader Joe's to pick up food for dinner and then came home, where you played and played and I cleaned and cleaned and we both did our thing while Steph supported us in one way or another. It was a really good day, Mister. You can't entirely tell that I spent time cleaning, but in the world of slow processes a relevant amount was accomplished.
Aunt Beth came over for dinner, and then we took Steph home with the iPad so that you could stay up until we got home (so you'd sleep through the night?? Maybe???) but you fell asleep about 10 minutes before we got home. It was a smooth transfer into bed though, so maybe you'll make it to 7:30? Here's hoping for 8!!
God I hope you have a flawless and wonderful day at school tomorrow! For both of our sake's!! Sweet dreams, Sweet Man...
