We had a slower than anticipated morning, so when you wanted to play out back, I got over myself and my idea of what the day was going to look like and just enjoyed your enjoyment. It's not the easiest thing to get myself to do, but I never regret it!
We went to Solebury Orchard in New Hope with Steph, Dolly and Rosie in preparation for apple butter making! Oh yumyumyumyumyum.... It was a really sweet place and the apples were absolutely amazing... You had quite a few melt downs, I'm not sure what they were about really...and you wouldn't pick any apples off of trees. You would, however, pick them up out of the bags and lick them though...so there's that.
We went to lunch after the orchard, and you and Ro ran around outside for a bit. After a year and a half of you following her around and trying to get her to interact with you, your roles have reversed. She's so sweet. We have the best besties... We went to their house, and Ro napped while you very much didn't. We made what will hopefully be apple butter tomorrow... You and I are gonna get cans and Steph is gonna teach us all to can it. I'd like to take this moment to reiterate: yumyumyumyumyum....
You and I ended our night at G&G's at break-the-fast. Lox and bagels and good company after a day of apples and good company. Such lucky folk we are...
