After staring at your cute self and loving the fact that you were this snuggled in still when we woke up, I woke you up and talked about going to school. I got a bunch of "no"s, but eventually you asked for your lunchbox and walked yourself to the car...got in like a champ. The nos started back up about half way through our drive, and we continued to talk about all of the things that were exciting about school...and how I thought about you all day long when we weren't together, and how exciting it is to come and pick you up... Yeah, that didn't help. We got to your class and you totally melted. Break my heart, Man... I waited outside of the class again for you to calm down, and this time it was almost immediate, you stinker... You had a pretty good day. I, on the other hand, couldn't get your sad little voice out of my head, so I got you a monkey. You've never fully taken to a blanket or stuffed animals, but I'm hoping that the monkey will stick. Let's be honest, if you don't end up carrying him everywhere, I'll be pretty happy to carry him myself...
You're making pretty good circles, Sir! Are you doing that at school? Or is this just one of your many talents?
You spent the rest of the evening playing with water and cars. I can't believe how you love cars. It's pretty intense. Actually, it seems you love trucks first, then buses, then cars. You made lines of cars and a car pile, then brought more vehicles upstairs then I even understand how you carried...and you fell asleep nursing, as usual, but...clutching a car! You were totally fixated tonight!
