You cried when I left your classroom, but I waited outside of the door until you stopped and it took less than a minute. That made me comfortable enough to go and work for a bit...and get a haircut...but then I went back to your school and looked in the window again to check on you...and I waited in the parking lot so that I could be there RIGHT at 1. You did have a few sad and melty moments, but you did much better today than on Monday. This is so hard on us, Mister! Thankfully we both love your teachers. Did I say that on Monday too? It's still true.
You talked to me the whole way home, and while I have no idea what you were saying, it was quite clearly that you were telling me about your day. Such a communicator you are!
You took forever to nap, but once you did it was a long one. You woke up to eat dinner and to give kisses to Elmo and Big Bird and then you were out for the night. Sweet Man... What should we do tomorrow?!
